The idea for a "Stamp Peeve" as in "We use stamps because we are peeved"! was created by me, while an active member on Glenn Becks the 912 project.com (my username as a Patriot is "snw912minded".), while an active member
In an effort to bring our UNITED voices to our Congress during a time of much frustration by the American Citizens. I decided we should send letters- a mass mailing!. But, most people hate to write letters, so I asked fellow 912ers to write some letters for you to use. That was 2009n2009
During our first Mass Mail effort from June 29th through July 3rd, 2009, we were very successful in sending over 100,000 Letters for Liberty! These Letters for Liberty were written by 912ers and Like-Minded Individuals; submitted to a vote by these same folks. The top five were selected and then edited for grammar, spelling and punctuation. Terri, our Graphics designer added a design to Unite the look of the Letters. They are still currently in use.
The StampPeeve has become well respected as a source for up-to-the-minute Letters! I receive Thank You(s) and many compliments from Senators’ Offices as well as prominent businesses. I also receive many compliments and words of gratitude from everyday citizens who just do not have the time or the patience to sit down and construct their Letters. We understand that you are busy, but that you do want to do your part!
We continue to strive to make it as easy as possible for you to participate and keep StampPeeve a free service!
The name “StampPeeve”, came about because we are using Stamps and we are Peeved! - and we continue to be Peeved!! Please join in our effort.
